The Regional Canvassing Manager Position

Sunnova Energy is searching for a Regional Canvassing Manager to be responsible for managing the Canvassing team in San Antonio, TX. The Regional Canvassing Manager responsibilities are managing sales goals, training personnel and monitoring performance of the canvassing teams. The ability to provide coaching and mentoring to the canvassing teams.

Regional Canvassing Manager Responsibilities

• Interviews candidates and makes hiring decisions
• Monthly Team Sales Quota: 4 per head, Goal of 8+ Canvassers
• Recruit and retain top lead generation talent in the industry
• Qualifying Prospects for Solar
• Manages the Territory Management and Assignment of sales teams
• Generates demand and appointments in Solar sales
• Delivers Training and Coaching for the team
• Monthly Team Sit(s) Quota: 12 per head, Goal of 8+ Canvassers
• Develops and manages the performance of the canvassing team(s)

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years’ related Sales experience
• Highschool Diploma/GED
• 2+ Inside Sales experience
• 1+ years’ Management/Supervisory Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in residential solar is required
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Additional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Ability to create salesforce report and dashboards focusing on team KPIs
• Great In-person and over-the-phone Sales Conversation Skills, such as actively listening and feel/felt/found objection handling
• Ability to go door to door to educate homeowners
• Ability to develop and deliver tailored training programs
• Accurately Forecasting Business on Monthly Cadence
• Consultative sales skills
• Ability to recruit, train and retain sales talent on the team
• Solar and Battery Design knowledge
• Accurate Data Entry and Management

Working Conditions

• Estimated travel time: 80%
• Open-office environment and/or Remote-office environment
• Driving Required: Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record

• Ability to go door to door
