A Snapshot of Your Day

The Plant Administrator will work under the general direction of the Plant Manager but will also closely collaborate with the Compliance Manager, the Operations Manager, and the Maintenance Manager. The Plant Administrator is responsible for invoice processing, file maintenance, the timely completion of payroll, the overall administrative functions of the plant, administering Human Resources procedures and benefits at the plant. This individual will work closely with buyer(s) to ensure maintenance of vendor service and the vendor data base as well as site personnel to ensure prompt and efficient processing of invoices.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Ensure security of plant records, files, and supplies; is responsible for procurement and coordinates the timely receiving of all administrative-related items
• Responsible for all accounts payable functions including accurate recording of sales tax expense and accruals. Timely and accurate posting and payment of all account payable invoices and payments.
• Timely, accurate and courteous resolution of all account payable issues and vendor questions
• Maintain accurate record of employee training, safety, environmental, maintenance and operating related files
• Manage and control all site policies and procedure revisions
• Administer human resources programs and serves as liaison to Siemens Corporate Human Resources Manager. Maintains accurate records of employee leave of absence, disability, and workers compensation claims. Assists with hiring of plant personnel. Oversee the new employee orientation process. Administer the Fitness for Duty policy in accordance with policy.

What You Bring

• Must have 5+ years of office management experience. Accounting or Bookkeeping expertise is a must.
• Effective management skills and competent computer skills are a must.
• High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
• Must have knowledge of Human Resources Generalist essential functions.
• Communicate, read, and write in English

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
