Plant Manager Jobs

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a production facility and a team. They should be able to analyze each step of the manufacturing process and effectively use resources to deliver desired outcomes. The candidate will also be able to follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently to create a healthy work environment for all employees.

The successful applicant must understand and follow EH&S processes and procedures. We need someone who can optimize production and use LEAN, 5S, JIT (Just In Time), and TQM (Total Quality Management) processes and methodologies to stimulate continuous improvement plant-wide.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Analyze production costs and inventory to establish areas for improvements
• Participates in developing unit strategic plans and annual forecasts, and communicates plans necessary to align resources to meet plant/companywide goals and objectives.
• Supports all sales activities by working with customers to determine requirements, craft solutions, and resolve problems.
• Ensure adherence to rules and workplace policies
• Participates in developing customer proposals, negotiations of customer contracts, major vendor contracts, and major capital purchases.
• Examine processes and design plans to effectively use available resources
• Oversee plant operations such as budget, production schedule, and stock

Qualifications

• Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations. Strong communication, management, and supervisory skills
• MBA a Prefered
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field
• 7+ years of experience in the field
