Job Description

The primary role of the Regional Vice President is to lead the Service Center Operations Management team to achieve safety, financial, service quality and operational efficiency metrics for multiple Service Centers within the Region.


Responsibilities

  • Supports sales and marketing initiatives within the Region.
  • Full P&L responsibility. Analyzes pricing, expenses, and operational metrics, for planning and performance to achieve objectives.
  • Owns financial, safety, service quality and operational efficiency performance.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert on all operational management related issues, systems, tools, and reporting.
  • Hires, fires, and trains Region management staff.
  • Executes performance planning, execution, and accountability within the Region.
  • Leads General Managers through building an annual budget and daily, monthly review of financial metrics to achieve their financial plan.


Qualifications

  • Customer service experience and orientation
  • Proven history of ethical business decision and integrity
  • 10 or more years of experience in an operations leadership role, preferably retail propane distribution
  • Solid business acumen including leadership, understanding of P&L and people development
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Travel - 60-70%+
  • Competitive urgency and initiative
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations or business management
