Job Description

Vice President of Human Resources (Manufacturing Industry)


We are assisting our client, a $500mm established manufacturing company, in the search for an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Human Resources. The VP of HR will be responsible for driving the development and execution of all human resources strategies and objectives, with a focus on optimizing our talent acquisition and management processes, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting our business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives and support a culture of equity and belonging within the organization
  • Work closely with the leadership team to ensure that HR initiatives are aligned with business goals
  • Develop and oversee the performance management process, ensuring that it is aligned with business objectives and drives employee engagement and productivity
  • Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Manage and develop the HR team to ensure the effective delivery of HR services to the organization
  • Lead the talent acquisition and management process, from sourcing to retention, to attract and retain top talent in the manufacturing industry
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the company's goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR to inform and guide our strategies and initiatives


Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Demonstrated experience leading HR initiatives in a manufacturing or related industry
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles, with a focus on talent acquisition and management, employee engagement, and HR strategy development
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
