Job Description

ABOUT YOUR ROLE As our Recruiting Onboarding Specialist, you will support the Recruiting team, assisting with various admin functions, including but not limited to: Entering positions in ATS, verification of candidate licensure/credentials, creating offer letters, and maintaining communication with candidates to move them from Interview to hire. This person will be experienced with Social Media Recruiting, Job Boards, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). You will communicate with the Hiring manager, Recruiters, HR, Training Coordinators, and the candidate to provide a positive candidate experience and proactively resolve Onboarding issues. The Regional Recruiting Manager will provide supportive and growth focused supervision for this position. This position works remotely, however may attend local job fairs and other community activities within North Carolina, as a representative of Pathways. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Intermediate Computer skills (MS Office Suite software and ATS experience)
  • A stickler for process and accuracy in the work that you put forward
  • Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills
  • Evaluate and improve workflows that relate to People processes by partnering with relevant stakeholders and driving the projects to completion
  • 3+ years of experience working within a high functioning People/HR team; Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally towards a shared goal
  • The ability to approach problems with a mindset of curiosity and looking to solve them in unique ways that meet our stage
  • Assisting with recurring onboarding related activities (e.g., scheduling onboarding meeting sessions, Right to Work verification, I-9 reverification, general onboarding)
  • Independence on projects, ability to complete/follow up tasks without direct supervision. High sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once
  • Service employee queries involving general operations or programs (e.g., new onboarding, general external workforce related questions, external workforce extension tasks, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
