Job Description

We do this by offering a holistic approach to developing lasting K-5 STEM programs in our partners’ schools. With our modular robotics kits and an innovative curriculum that anchors STEM learning in the core subject areas, we create an unmatched engagement of students.


We strive to create long-term partnerships with districts and schools, especially those in low-income communities, to plan implementations and to provide ongoing training to build teachers’ comfort and competency in STEM.


We are looking for a passionate and experienced Customer Success Manager to join our team and help us build strong relationships with our customers.


Job Overview:


The Customer Success Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with our customers in North Carolina and other states to ensure they achieve their goals and have a positive experience with our platform. The successful candidate will work closely with our sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure we meet our customers’ needs and exceed their expectations.

Our users are teachers and students and as Customer Success Manager, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of Robo Wunderkind at schools in North Carolina and potentially also in neighboring states. You will have a portfolio of clients in a variety of locations and you will be advising our customers on buying decisions, onboarding new users and supporting our customers through their customer journey from purchase to renewal.


There is a high need for both excellent customer relationship skills and a thorough knowledge of the span of solutions offered to solve the accounts education challenges and needs. Successful implementation of our product in schools will depend on your ability to support our users and build relationships.


Tasks


  • Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies for customer retention and growth
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to help shape our product roadmap
  • Develop and execute customer success plans to help our customers achieve their goals
  • Support the Robo Wunderkind Marketing and Sales team at state and national education events.
  • Build strong relationships with our customers and become their trusted advisor
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers
  • Provide training and support to customers to help them use our platform effectively
  • Serve as the voice of the customer within the company and advocate for their needs
  • Conduct regular check-ins and follow-ups with customers to ensure they are getting value from our platform
  • Plan and develop evaluation reports for our customers and present them to their district administrators


Requirements


  • IMPORTANT: Our team has a remote-first policy, but this specific position requires a physical presence in North Carolina.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • A background check is a requirement for this position.
  • Knowledge of the EdTech industry and market trends is a plus
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • K12 experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in customer success or account management roles
  • Passion for education and technology
  • Experience with digital and/or physical products for children and experience with younger students' education is a plus.
  • Readiness to work in the field visiting schools
  • Experience with CRM software
