Job Description
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Recruiting and Training Coordinator (Team Coordinator) to join our team at the Flagship Orlando location.


Position Summary


The Andretti Team Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Human Resource, Training, Payroll Departments, and the Unit General Manager with building and staffing the unit Hourly teams and monitoring the training of new hires. The Team Coordinator is expected to maintain the quality and ethical standards set by AIKG while representing the Andretti brand.


The Team Coordinator is a Full-time, Salary position the reports to the unit General Manager and the Director of Human Resources


KEY RESPONSIBILITES


  • Assist Department Managers in staffing idea and retention goals.
  • Review resumes and online job applications checking for suitable skills, experience and availability.
  • Attend and locate any career hiring fairs and hiring boards to recruit quality candidates.
  • Assist Human Resources with job posting to external websites and social media.
  • Engage in open communication with trainees regarding training and learned material.
  • Utilize Application Tracking System and other programs to track, maintain and process candidates in the hiring process.
  • Use appropriate and detailed screening criteria to locate a high volume of quality, qualified candidates.
  • Prepare and review new hire packets ensuring full completion.
  • Knowledge of payroll aspects such as reading a paystub, deductions, arrears and direct deposits.
  • Assist Human Resource Manager and Training Manager with the distribution of all orientation and training material.
  • Follow all new hires throughout the training process and initial 90 days of employment.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR and Training Team. The support may include preparing appointments and creating agendas.

Qualifications


Required:


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • At least 18 years of age


Preferred And Great To Have


  • Effective presentation skills and able to answer to questions from team of managers, members, guests and public
  • Commitment to providing excellent guest service and training development
  • Experience in Recruiting and utilizing an Applicant Tracking System
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products
  • Experience in Retail, food service or hospitality industry a plus
  • Well-built skills in organization, prioritization, and time management
  • Strong training and development background
  • Knowledge in Training & Development, Human Resources, and Payroll
  • Ability to work individually unsupervised and in a team environment
