Recruiter (Remote)

A fintech company in New York City is actively seeking a dedicated and driven professional to join their staff in a remote capacity as their new Recruiter. In this role, the Recruiter will play a critical role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent for the company.

Responsibilities

The Recruiter will:

• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive intelligence to proactively identify talent pools and recommend innovative recruitment approaches
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers and clients to understand their hiring needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and provide regular updates on candidate progress
• Utilize various sourcing methods, including online platforms, job boards, social media, networking events, and direct sourcing techniques, to identify and engage with potential candidates
• Write compelling job descriptions to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates
• Conduct thorough screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for the organization
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, keeping them informed throughout the recruitment process and providing a positive candidate experience
• Track and analyze recruitment data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular reports to management.

Qualifications

• Strong sourcing skills and experience using a variety of tools and platforms to identify and engage with potential candidates
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a project-based environment and managing multiple assignments simultaneously
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist
• Client-facing experience, with the ability to understand and address client needs effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring practices
• Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software
