We are looking for a smart, business and tech savvy, and collaborative Recruiter to join us. You love what you do - connecting senior to executive level Design professionals (Industrial Design, User Experience Design, Service Design, etc.), with exciting opportunities and helping clients achieve their transformation objectives by finding the best and brightest. You learn and work quickly, write and speak persuasively, have experience in design recruitment, and love developing meaningful relationships.
General Responsibilities
- Source candidates from networks, referrals, professional networking groups/sites and other sources
- Develop relationships that reflect Vee's purpose, brand and values
- Provide a positive experience for clients, candidates and colleagues
- Identify and evaluate candidates quickly and thoroughly, guiding them through our and our client's interview and evaluation processes
- Drive end-to-end retained search process including sourcing and qualifying design candidates, assessing cultural fit, and negotiating offers to close
- Participate in search kickoff meetings to understand context, review objectives, and develop project plans and timelines
- Learn and apply our people-science based candidate assessments to evaluate candidates
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Prepare candidates for interviews and gather their and the client's feedback post-interview
- Contribute to client search status reports
- Report on results in status meetings, including growth in candidate pools, pipeline progress, new candidate market learnings, addressing roadblocks
- Keep ATS and Office 365 and Sharepoint up-to-date
- Prepare/present candidate materials
- Conduct primary/secondary research
- Manage searches within established timelines
Basic Requirements
- Experience working in/for consumer-facing tech and/or mobility companies preferred.
- 1+ years experience in design or related recruitment - UX, innovation, strategy, experience, product and industrial design, digital media, marketing and/or communications
- Tech fluency and platform agnosticism. Fast self-learner on different platforms, programs and apps; Greenhouse, Hiretual, and LinkedIn Recruiter experience a plus
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in retained search
- Ability to discern and present world-class design portfolios
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Bachelor's degree in liberal arts or field related to our focus areas
