Position Summary:

The HR Generalist/Recruiter will work closely with the Company’s General Counsel and will be responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resource department with a focus on recruiting and hiring staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave.

Your key contributions:

• Conduct exit interviews;
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
• Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments;
• Process all new hire paperwork and manage onboarding of new employees;
• Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations;
• Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions;
• Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications;
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to General Counsel;
• Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs;
• Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance management; productivity, recognition, and morale;
• Maintain employment records and ensure compliance with applicable state laws;

What we’re looking for in a candidate:

• Good time management skills;
• Proficient in Word (Excel, MS Word, Outlook);
• Familiarity with recruiting tools and networks;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Excellent record keeping;
• Strong recognition of HR functions, methods, strategies, procedures, and policies;
• BA or BS in related field or equivalent experience is preferred;
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Recruiter or Human Resources professional;

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company's total rewards package.
