Real Time Audio Algorithms Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly motivated Real-Time Audio Algorithms Engineer to join our team and work on cutting-edge audio technologies in San Diego! In this role, you will be responsible for the research and development of advanced audio algorithms, including echo cancellation, noise suppression, automatic gain control, microphone array processing, machine learning-based audio processing algorithms, and audio algorithms and architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Research and develop real-time audio algorithms such as echo cancellation, noise suppression, and automatic gain control for communication systems.
• Research and develop audio algorithms and architecture in the field of real-time communication.
• Research and develop microphone array audio processing, and machine learning-based audio processing algorithms, such as beam forming and blind source separation.
• Continuously optimize and improve audio algorithms to enhance system performance
• Collaborate with other team members to integrate audio algorithms into large-scale systems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in digital signal processing-related theories, good at machine learning-based.
• Signal processing algorithm implementation and optimization.
• Familiar with audio compression standards, experience in audio algorithm development is preferred.
• Familiar with C/C++, Python programming, and be able to facilitate the implementation of audio processing algorithms.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the audio/multimedia engineering domain.
• S. or M.S. degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, acoustics, or signal processing-related fields.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

WE OFFER

The annual salary range for this role is $80,000 – $250,000 per year.

The Annual Salary is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand. This range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
