The AirPlay Audio team builds technologies that allow our billions of users to share audio experiences throughout their lives, and we’re looking for more brilliant engineers to join our team. Come help us build the future of AirPlay Audio.

Key Qualifications

  • Multithreading software development in a highly concurrent environment
  • Strong programming skills with C and/or C++
  • An ability to work well with tight schedules and rapid development cycles
  • Experience with using and developing media libraries especially for mobile platforms

Description

The Connected Media group and AirPlay Audio team is looking for a software engineer to join our team to work on AirPlay. We are looking for expert developers that have debugged complex and layered software stacks. You will be curious, self-motivated, and thorough when they approach new challenges. As an engineer on our team you will be responsible for crafting and implementing new features in AirPlay across of Apple's product lines product lines. You will be able to collaborate effectively on a team, and thrive in a dynamic, highly fluid environment.

Education & Experience

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $95,000 and $177,000 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
