The WebstaurantStore, a leader in supporting the food service industry for two decades is looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our growing company. This is a true “Mid-Level” position with room to grow and advance your career towards our Senior and Lead Engineer positions. 4+ years' experience is expected for this role.

As a Mid-Level QA Engineer for the (Customer Facing Development Team / Internal Applications and Special Projects Team), you will be:

• Creating and updating existing QA documentation
• Working with peers both onsite and remotely.
• Working closely with Development, Business Analysts and Product Owners to ensure project success
• Documenting, tracking and escalating issues
• Estimating the Level of Effort needed to test and complete a task
• Running System, Integration and UI testing on multiple web-based products and platforms
• Acting at the Primary QA Point of Contact on some projects or teams
• Troubleshooting and triaging issues with multiple teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution

We are looking for a driven, motivated candidate who MUST have:

• A good understanding of multiple software testing methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Web and mobile testing experience
• Ability to work with a majority remote team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to accommodate Eastern Time Zone work hours
• Ability to form working relationships within the project teams
• Strong analytical skills
• Intermediate SQL and database knowledge
• Flexibility to multitask and shift focus as needed
• Proven ability to write clear and concise test cases
• Capable of assessing Project risk and giving fair estimate of work.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a QA Role
• Ability to expand on usable Business Requirements (Acceptance Criteria)
• Ability to work within the project teams and present documentation to the Project / Enterprise Leadership

Bonus points if the candidate also has:

• TFS/VSTS/ADO experience
• Some knowledge of troubleshooting, diagnosing issues at a high level and basic computing logic (programming)
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
• Some working knowledge or experience in automation or programming
• Automation experience
• Willingness to train/mentor junior team members
