3+ years of relevant work experience (in leveraged finance, investment banking or related fields)

Knowledge of corporate finance valuation and financial accounting concepts

Provide support in execution of leveraged finance transactions for financial sponsors and corporate clients

Work with the senior bankers to manage the relationship and monitor performance of portfolio companies

Experience with three-statement financial modeling, including detailed operating builds and capital structure scenarios

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in teams

Superior time management and multi-tasking skills to juggle live transactions and daily tasks

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Entry level or 1-2 years of Trading or Markets experience

Bachelor's degree in relevant coursework (Economics, Finance, Data Science, Engineering, Math, or related)

Advanced Excel and MS Office skills; proficiency in data analysis tools or programming preferred

Provide support to traders covering institutional accounts and making markets in municipal bonds and other non-profit securities

Assist in the transaction management process for general market and SID offerings

Develop appropriate reporting tools to communicate with FNCM management regarding general Public Finance activities, including business development activities

Provide input and recommendations to manager to enhance departmental effectiveness and the strategic plan

Contribute to and support defined strategy, revenue targets, goals, objectives and activities with regard to individual, Public Finance, and Capital Markets

Manage operations and administration required in deal execution including cusip, DTC, MSRB, and State Street submissions

Develop strong working relationship with issuers, counsel, rating agencies and credit enhancers to serve as an effective FNCM Public Finance liaison

Manage daily account balances, prepare and setup client bank instructions, and report and escalate client fails to management

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of one years of experience in financial services for Analyst role

Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail

Relevant operations experience, preferably in derivatives

Knowledge of current industry focuses and commodities

Experience working with clients and delivering exceptional customer service

Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures

B.S. or B.A. in finance, economics, public administration or related fields is preferred

Collaborate with the banking team on all principal GS mortgage-backed securities. Responsibilities include:

Undergraduate in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or other STEM related degree.

1 to 3 years of mortgage / loans / fixed income experience

Superior analytical skills and attention to detail

Attending client meetings when appropriate to observe the GRM(s) to develop working knowledge of relationship management

Reviewing new business opportunities, preparing and submitting materials used for screening new deals with senior management for approval

Assisting with periodic senior management reporting such as quarterly business updates, financial reporting, annual account planning, etc.

1+ Year Corporate Banking related work experience is a decisive asset

Credit experience or background i.e., a formal bank credit training program is a plus
