Project Procurement Specialist Jobs

Job Overview:

The Project Procurement Specialist, with minimal supervision, has the responsibility of executing tactical B2B (Book to Bill) project procurement activities. This position will work with the Procurement teams, Cost Estimation, and AP Accounts Payable in supporting Kinley projects and departmental KPIs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

· Support all tactical project procurement activities in the B2B Book to Bill Process.

· Monitor demand, analyze and expedite open orders.

· Support both direct and indirect procurement with various Project teams

· Monitor key deliverables as cost, quality, and delivery.

· Support the execution of strategic procurement objectives.

· Manages multiple inquiries, negotiates contracts, and maintains commercial relations

· Collaborates and provides services and support to multiple internal departments

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

· 3+ years of experience in Construction procurement.

· Knowledgeable in Construction Industry Standards. (ASTM, ASME, API)

· ProCore / Vista software experience preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, QuickBooks)

· Excellent communication and commercial skills within procurement to include payment terms, milestone payments, INCO terms, and negotiation strategies

· Full understanding in meeting KPIs (Cost, Quality, Delivery); total landed cost; budget vs actual

· Adaptability to a fast-paced highly demanding environment a must

· Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

· Motivated, independent, and self-sufficient

· Strategic and forward-thinking mindset.

Additional Information:

Travel – 10%

Work is performed in a typical office setting with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
