The PMO Project Manager plans and manages strategic, corporate initiatives across functional groups within Acclaro. Projects focus on technology deployment, process change management, and customer service centric improvement plans.
The PMO Manager determines project benchmarks, coordinates and facilitates communications with stakeholders, reports on activity, and tracks/monitors/measures progress and outcomes of projects.
Location: Worldwide, Remote
Reports to: Global Program Director (PMO)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates project charters and outlines for cross-functional projects and initiatives aligned with Acclaro corporate objectives and priorities.
- Manage and analyze project-based financial data, including budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
- Develop and refine project management process documentation and training material.
- Develop project status reporting and present project progress, updates, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders.
- Evaluate and assess project results and post-project reports and share lessons learned through the organization.
- Monitor the execution of assigned tasks and responsibilities of cross-functional, global team members. Develop and track measures/indicators related to outcomes of each planning process.
- Manage change when necessary to meet project outputs.
- Develop detailed Project Plans for cross-functional initiatives and projects including: defining project scope, goals, and deliverables; defining projects tasks and required resources; creating communication protocols; and project timelines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Engaging approach to execute solutions in the face of challenges to inspire and drive change
- 5+ years’ experience in project management or related position
- PMP Certification or equivalent
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and awareness of cross-cultural issues, skills to interact with team members at all levels of the organization
- Strong computer skills
- Resourceful, creative, and well-organized with an ability to prioritize and proactively offer solutions
- Exposure to localization or translation-related industries or adjacent industries
- Full professional proficiency level in English
- University degree in related field or equivalent military or professional experience
DESIRABLE
- Microsoft Project skills
- People management skills
- Experience working at a remote-first, globally dispersed company
