Marketing Program Manager / PMO

Pay: $51-53 / hourly as W2, full benefits offered

Remote - EST hours required

Length of contract: 10 months, possible extension past that point


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $51 to $53 / hourly as a W2 employee.


Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Job Title

One of our key financial institution clients is looking for a skilled Program Manager to support the digital acquisition programs within their marketing organization.


This team provides centralized execution capabilities to US Consumer Bank and all of its lines of business and is an engine of transformation for the marketing organization.


We are looking for a project manager who has experience managing complex engagements and can collaborate across cross-functional internal and external teams to bring these new platforms to market. The goal of this team is to deliver new and enhanced functionalities that drive efficiencies and effectiveness in our marketing execution and support strategic priorities for the organization.

This role will support efforts and projects related to the transformation of our marketing infrastructure and document business needs and requirements that will drive technical solutions.


All About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Program Manager who has an execution-oriented client facing competency that applies proven, accredited change skills and domain experience and able to partner with our clients to help them drive measurable value by:


  • Transforming client processes and optimizing their management practices
  • Delivering new products and strategies to market smoothly and efficiently
  • Strengthening client’s internal skills, knowledge and experience in critical areas
  • As a Project Management Consultant you will manage multiple projects within our client ecosystem providing efficient and effective coordination of a complex range of activities by clearly defining project team and stakeholder roles and responsibilities that are aligned with the delivery of the expected benefits. You will also ensure effective identification of risks and proactive solutions to mitigate risks and impact on timelines.
  • Successfully implementing and providing project management support to the Product Owners that lead implementations of complex technology assets and delivering the most drive challenging transformation programs to create the new business as usual


Requirements:

  • Able to handle multiple priorities, work independently, think laterally and manage multiple issues under the pressure of conflicting constraints and limited resources. Perform and articulate cost / benefit / risk analysis
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Able to define scope, timelines and budgets in a clear, concise language in writing and verbally. Able to report on issues, risks, progress, timelines etc. accurately and summarize effectively offering analysis, options and credible solutions
  • Bring interesting & relevant industry perspectives, insights and ideas to key stakeholders in the client organization
  • Experience in delivery of large, complex projects / programs of diverse size in a cross-functional, multicultural environment
  • Able to plan and manage a multi work stream program from inception to delivery providing support, direction and / or technical expertise to the project team across multiple disciplines and geographies
  • Develop strong presence in the client organization extending beyond the immediate boundaries of the program
  • Formally trained in a range of project management and change management methodologies and techniques; accredited in one or more recognized PM/PMO/ Change/Service management methodologies is an advantage
  • Able to lead, motivate and develop a team of professionals


Education & Skills

  • Exposure specifically in payments and / or retail banking or merchants preferred; prior experience with Financial Services is preferred
  • Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships
  • Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required, knowledge of Project Management tools preferred
  • Professional accreditation such as Project Management Professional (PMP) desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or MBA preferred
