Project Manager - Fully Remote

Our large Fortune 500 client is seeking a Project Manager to join the team on a fully remote basis.

Title: Project Manager

Location: Fully Remote

Pay Rate: $45-60/hr DOE, potential flexibility

Duration: 6 month-1 year contract

Must Haves:

• 1+ years Project Management experience supporting tail spend reduction/rationalization
• Solid understanding of manufacturing environments (factories, etc.)
• Experience working with supply chain & vendor management
• Strong communication/outgoing personality

*One opening needs someone proficient in Asian steel and another opening needs someone proficient in European steel - all other openings just need tail spend rationalization

Day to Day:

This Project Manager will be helping our client reduce their suppliers from 4500 down (shrinking tail spend, low-cost sourcing, reducing packaging, etc.) This PM will be expected to communicate with the Category Manager, engineering, procurement, and vendor management throughout the projects. Typically, 1 project will be worked on at a time, but there's a chance it can get up to 2-3 smaller projects. Some projects deal with vendors outside of the United States (Asia & Europe), and up to 25% travel should be expected. Projects can include: harness, steel, gauge analytics, weights, fabrication, etc.
