Overview


This position supports the operational component of our commercial and residential energy efficiency contracts for TRC’s local programs. The candidate will perform a variety of processing activities in support of Energy Consultants, Installation Partners and customers on energy efficiency projects. As a Project Coordinator, the individual will be responsible for, but not limited to project creation support, document verification, assignment of field inspections, interactions with contractors as well as support of accurate and timely reviews of projects and payments of project rebates.


The Project Coordinator (PC) will be required to operate across several programs and multiple dashboard queues to assure that projects are continuously progressed based on daily responses from contractors and customers. The PC will have specific accountabilities to assure project accuracy and that project requirements have been validated and met. Candidate must be able to work within a multi-faceted environment to meet both project and program goals and objectives. The candidate must operate at a high degree of accuracy and be comfortable assessing varied types of submittals and progressing applications to their next stages of review.


Responsibilities


The Project Coordinator will use software to progress customer applications through required milestones and interact across functional areas in order to ensure timely responses to customers; raise issues and exceptions to appropriate levels for resolution; provide insights on how to improve program design and processing for better overall delivery and value; understand and communicate changes in volume trends to help offset potential delays; ensure outstanding customer and contractor satisfaction; cross train coworkers on program requirements; participate in local Long Island, NY marketing events and conferences.


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications


  • Associates degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
  • Strong communication
  • Energy Efficiency program experience.
  • Business acumen to include a working knowledge and understanding of invoice documents, equipment specifications and operational functions required to provide sound program support.
  • Aptitude for Microsoft Outlook Suite. Ability to work with excel sheets and to create and upload documents and files.
  • Able to quickly assess information and take appropriate actions to keep process flowing
  • Requires attention to detail and analytical skill.
  • Comfort with fast changing work priorities and multitasking.
  • Professional presence with desire to improve processes and exceed program savings goals.
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Ability to understand and follow procedures;
  • Three plus years experience supporting customer programs.


Highly Qualified Candidates Will Demonstrate


  • Can present program details to audiences for recruitment and participation requirements.
  • Understands and has strong Excel skills
  • Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Professional presence with desire to improve processes and exceed program savings goal
  • Advanced Word skills;
  • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining customer, client, and vendor relationships with high level of satisfaction
