Job Description
Job Title job duties:
  • Maintain and update task (predecessor / successor) and schedule links as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Programs to capture hardware related tasks, such as Purchase Order (PO) dates, hardware production cycles, and Concurrent Product Development (CPD) milestones.
  • Support the budget process
  • The Project Controller will participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Support the implementation of new processes
  • The Project Controller will generate financial analyses
  • Analyze business cases
  • Support cost tracking and reporting
  • Maintain product cost routings
  • Provide support in generating cost breakdowns
  • Be the liaison between Technical Leads, Project Managers (PMs), and other client personnel to gather and understand the status to perform Earned Value updates.
  • Prepare financial information for negotiations
  • Provide support for contracts
  • Create or support the creation of reports such as the Contractor's Progress Status and Management Report (CPSMR) and Integrated Program Management Report.
  • Perform schedule status updates and task additions / removals.
  • Schedule, own and lead meetings to gather the necessary data to meet deadlines.
  • Create an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) project that links the individual engine module projects.
Qualifications:
  • Some technical, or mechanical background is desired. Emphasis on experience working with Engineers.
  • Ability to manage multiple / competing deadlines effectively.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Associates of Science degree in related field or 3+ years equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong aptitude and a working knowledge of the scheduling software
  • Ability to take ownership of your work and the overall
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
