We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Corporate Controller to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting, financial management, and team leadership. As a key member of our organization, the Corporate Controller will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, driving operational excellence, and ensuring compliance in a fast-growing environment.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Master's Degree and/or CPA a plus

Critical Performance Objectives & Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and other relevant parties. Act as a key point of contact for financial matters related to Private Equity stakeholders.
• Internal Controls and Compliance: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other relevant financial information. Consolidate financial results from AlpHa APAC and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
• Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership by overseeing the corporate accounting functions and financial reporting.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of 4 accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Set clear performance expectations, provide guidance, and encourage continuous professional development.
• Collaborate with the CFO to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives.
• Mergers and Acquisitions: Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate the integration of newly acquired companies into the organization's financial systems and processes. Provide insights and analysis on the financial impact of acquisitions.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance financial processes, controls, and systems. Implement best practices to optimize efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a leadership capacity, managing teams of at least 7 professionals.
• Private Equity experience is highly desirable.
• CPA designation is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• 2-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting and finance roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems with PowerBI experience a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
