Controller, Irving (145K-150K+Bonus)

LHH is looking to fill a Controller position with a well organization that is growing it's footprint in the Irving area. This position will be responsible for managing the Accounting department, facilitating month-end close, reporting the financials, and working with multiple operating organizations within the services entity. This role will have an opportunity to assist in improving process and impacting financial decisions.

This position pays 145K-150K+Bonus.

Responsibilities Include:

· Closing all of the monthly financial statements and reports

· Complete monthly. quarterly, and annual reporting

· Prepare the 12-month rolling forecast and assist in the budgeting preparation

· Interview, hire, train, and separating of employees

· Plan, assign, and direct work for direct reports

· Work as the focal point for Independent Auditors and oversee the completion of the annual audit

· Appraise overall performance; reward and discipline employees within the department

· Provide management and direction of the CFO for multiple ad-hoc initiatives, including but not limited to financial systems improvements, accounting structures, process improvements, and provide new business models

Requirements:

· Strong analytically and results-driven

· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Required

· CPA is a plus

· Public Accounting is a plus

· Experience in a multi-variable business

· Supervisory experience required

· Staff Development Experience required
