Job Description

VP, Controller


SNI Financial has partnered with a great $200M+ company in DFW that is looking to hire a VP, Controller. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the VP, Controller will be responsible for leading the strategy and daily activities of General Accounting, Technical Accounting, Tax Reporting, Internal Controls, etc. The Candidate will be a strong partner to the CFO as the company's growth ramps up. There are around 15 people reporting up to the VP, Controller, ~5 of those being direct reports. This is a Hybrid role with 3 days/week in their Irving office.


A strong candidate will have their CPA, some Big4/Tier 2 public accounting experience, excellent communication skills, ability to navigate complex audits, experience implementing accounting processes/procedures, and strong leadership experience.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience implementing accounting processes/procedures
  • CPA required.
  • 7+ years of applicable experience with both public and industry experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Strong grasp on Technical Accounting research, writing memos, explaining to executive management.
