PROGRAMS DIRECTOR

The Company:

Our client is seeking a PROGRAMS DIRECTOR to join their team! They are a Houston-based non-profit organization that leads early childhood initiatives via education, training, and support for hundreds of families in the Houston region.

This role is a direct-hire, permanent, position. Work location is based out of Galleria Area. Work schedule is Monday-Friday and does have remote flexibility for someone based out of Houston (Galleria) Area.

This position has compensation ranged from $110K-$140K annually.

*All applicants MUST have a Bachelor’s Degree and managerial experience within a non-profit organization.*

The Expectations:

· Provide mentorship and guidance to a group of senior program leaders

· Develop systems to ensure accountability and progress with program staff, including senior leaders, leaders, and reports

· Individually review program metrics for planning, budgeting, objectives, targets, implementation, and evaluation

· Analyze program metrics to correct areas requiring attention and identify areas of potential growth

· Manage grant spending and success by oversight and reporting

· Monitor various grants of varying sizes (50K-4M) simultaneously

· Integrate grant-funded initiatives to support company goals

· Support multiple internal initiatives by providing strategic input targeted towards program goals

· Lead and monitor internal professional development and training opportunities for all program staff, including leaders

· Collaborate with board of directors to communicate program status, updates, and challenges

· Communicate with organization executives regarding transformational vision of organization and team

· Travel in Houston as needed to participate in program events as requested by board of directors.

The Experience:

· MUST have managerial experience in non-profit sector;

· MUST have Bachelor’s Degree and be able to complete education verification;

· PREFFERED to have degree within education or psychology field;

· MUST have experience managing large grants and related metrics.

The Benefits:

· Compensation at $110K to $140K annually

· This position is full-time(40 hours per week).
