Program Manager - Supply Chain (Bay Area)

Successfully navigating the complex semiconductor and hardware supply chain is vital to Lightmatter’s success. We are looking for someone with supply chain experience and limitless positive energy to participate in all forms of tactical and strategic supply chain activities. Success in this role will require analyzing current and future supply chain needs and constraints, staying organized, being an avid consumer of market intelligence, and leaning into relationship management between Lightmatter and our critical suppliers.

• You must be able to commute to either our Mountain View or Boston office for this role. Complete remote option is not available.

Responsibilities

• Balance the technical needs vs business impact to set development program priorities and to manage schedule execution
• Conduct market research to understand potential opportunities in the supply chain to improve on costs, time or quality
• Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver against business objectives and achieves sustainable relationships with suppliers
• Help manage all aspects of the day to day operations, including supplier communications, track schedules and deliverables, alignment with technical subject matter experts and engineering teams
• Create and refine supply chain models to drive order volumes and timing
• Continuously report challenges/risks and align with stakeholders to achieve on-time launch and improve time-to-market
• Partner with engineering teams (Architecture/Design for Silicon, Packaging and Systems) to identify the right solution partners

Requirements

• Relationship management experience
• 8+ years experience in supply chain, supply chain operations or analytics, preferably with semiconductor experience
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Desire to work and ability to thrive in the often-nebulous and fast paced startup environment
• Collaborative attitude, and excitement to drive your own work
• Experience owning projects from start to finish, with successful results

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience in Start-up environment
• Experience with NetSuite ERP or something similar

Base Compensation Range: $140,000 to $190,000. In accordance with the Colorado, California and New York law, the range provided is Lightmatter's reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. Actual pay will be based on several factors including work experience, location and education.
