Supply Chain/Inventory Manager

SmartyPantsis looking for a motivated, dedicated, and detail-oriented individual for the Supply Chain/Inventory Managerposition.In this role,you'llwork closely withSupply Planning, Fulfillment, Finance, Demand Planning& 3rd party vendorto drive inventoryaccuracy and reconciliation. WhatYou’llDo:

• Coordinate with 3rd parties to investigate inventorydiscrepancies
• Collaborate with accounting on monthly reconciliation of inventory between ERP and 3rdparties
• Own Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory process
• Maintain cycle countprogram
• Optimize inventory tracking system to improve inventory controlprocedures
• Reconcile weekly production batches and evaluate if excess scrap wasincurred
• Assist with EDI setup,testing, and onboarding of customers and 3rdparties
• Trouble shoot EDI to ERP mapping warnings anderrors
• UPC/GTIN and bar code creation fornew items
• Other duties, projects, and responsibilities asassigned
• Investigate and solve inconsistencies withinventory
• Maintainaccurateinventory of raw materials and finishedgoods

What You Have:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast pacedenvironment
• Ability to take ownership of initiatives and work proactively to successfully complete projects within tighttimeframes
• Bachelor's degree In Operations, Supply Planning, or related field
• Strong emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP
• Excellent interpersonalskills;ability to interact with all personality types and behaviors; flexibility
• Experience with driving lead-time reduction initiatives
• 4-6years of experience in a fast-pacedinventory management position
• Experience with EDI specifically SPS Commerce

Bonus points for:

• Experience with new product development inventory management practices
• APICS certification
• CPG or wholesale experience
• Understanding and prior experience with GS1 US

• The pay range for this position is $80,000to $100,000.SmartyPantsVitamins takes into consideration a wide range of factors that areutilizedin making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
