THE ROLE:

We are looking for an Supply Chain Manager responsible for assisting strategic operations within the functional areas of supply chain, domestic logistics, co-man/co-pack management, and data management. The Operations Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to support the business in early expansion efforts to establish a market-leading, competitive operations curriculum. This role will work closely with the CEO and other Operations partners with the opportunity to evolve into a more senior role as the business scales.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with founder to set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity
• Utilize MRP tools to analyze supply/demand requirements, monitor inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements, and maintains accurate material lead times
• Draft SOPs of all operational functions and manage updates as business needs evolve
• Participate in basic warehousing and delivery program development
• Define and develop inventory and purchasing strategies to meet manufacturing timelines and quality requirements
• Track key performance indicators of operational health and make recommendations to reach cost-saving and continuous improvement goals
• Submit and track POs with suppliers, co-manufacturers, and co-packers
• Assist with creation of supply/demand and forecasting tools as well as utilization processes

Qualifications/Skills

• Understanding of supplier/vendor management and the importance of maintaining good supplier/vendor relationships
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Experience in Food & Beverage, Vitamin/Mineral/Supplement, or other Wellness-related CPG industries
• Excellent understanding of ERP & MRP systems (Katana experience is highly desired)
• Ability to manage multiple moving pieces – hard working, organized, and results oriented individual
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience in a highly analytical role

Nice-to-Haves

• 2-3 years of Supply Chain experience in CPG (consumer packaged goods) related fields
• A passion for startups and building a company from the ground up a plus
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or other Management Systems
