Hello Sunshine is seeking a Family, Kids and YA Film & TV Assistant to support administration needs. We are seeking a self-starter who is well-versed across film and television production and has worked at a large media or entertainment brand. The Film & TV assistant will have the opportunity to work on everything from reading books, scripts, supporting the creation of film and television productions and more.

What You Will Do

Administration

• Familiarize yourself with current projects your managers are working on including key auspices and partners
• Review script changes, format writer, director, talent lists and proactively track project status and action items
• Prepare comparison drafts for analysis
• Manage rolling calls, take detailed notes, track and update submission logs and call logs through industry edge, or google sheets
• Draft and manage monthly expense reports for your managers
• Heavy scheduling of generals and supporting the coordination of project-based meetings
• Organize and prioritize deadlines, follow through on tasks and keep your managers informed of your progress
• Provide managers with detailed beginning and end of day emails

Requirements

• Proven reliability in handling sensitive material and security concerns under very tight deadlines
• Agency or large production company experience required
• BA or BS degree or equivalent experience in film, television, required
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines promptly and efficiently
• Extreme attention to detail and organization skills
• Able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to anticipate needs and high-level problem solving
