We are looking for a Product Manager for Browse Recommendations at Pinterest. This role will be responsible for the ML, and recommendations stack that power the “front page” of the Pinterest app - our Home experience - and the Closeup experience. Together, these products account for the majority of engagement on Pinterest; therefore, you will sit at the nexus of our work to inspire Pinners, enable creator success, and drive advertiser outcomes.
What you'll do:
- Deliver hundreds of millions of Pinners' daily personalized inspiration via world-class ML recommendations. Lead initiatives that drive high scale user engagement.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, and product lead to define, measure, and drive day-to-day work: understand diverse Pinner needs to create personalized and inspirational recommendation experiences for a wide breadth of audiences and a set of objectives.
- Increase the depth of our technical sophistication by introducing and evolving ML-driven techniques throughout the recommendation funnel.
- Collaborate across product teams to drive alignment and resolve dependencies for high visibility. Browse surfaces.
- Work on product strategy, development, and execution for recommendations on key Browse surfaces, including Home, Closeup, Watch tab, Following tab, and More Ideas.
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrated success in product management or related experience at fast-growing companies.
- A computer science or technical degree is ideal but not required.
- Ability to move quickly and make appropriate trade-offs based on data analysis and qualitative feedback from Pinners.
- Experience working on end-to-end recommendation experiences.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and deliver great user experiences on time in a highly collaborative environment.
