Your role at Clorox:
The Key Account Manager, CloroxPro Geographic Public Health position leads the division’s sales efforts with major End Users and select Regional Distributors of the Clorox Professional Products Public Health Geographic Team. The KAM is responsible for the planning and sales execution of the CloroxPro priorities across our Public Health portfolio at major End Users and select regional distributors within a specified geography and is accountable for the attainment of sales targets and deliverables for their assigned territory. The role covers all professional end user verticals, with the majority of focus on Healthcare, but including Education, and office, amongst others. The KAM’s End User focused portion of the role involves major end user volume opportunities in their territory, which generally involve users with multiple sites, while employing a top down/corporate HQ sales approach. The role reports to Team Leader, CloroxPro Geographic Public Health.

In this role, you will:
Drive the Business - Deliver CloroxPro Financial Targets
  • Partner with Public Health National Account Team counterparts, as well as White Space/OOH team as appropriate, to leverage and execute against national scoping customers, plans, and programs in the geography.
  • Engage in customer facing selling activities that are consistent with the overall CloroxPro field sales business plan and local geographic team plan which drive CloroxPro Public Health volume and overall sales goals and SAC targets
  • Partner extensively with RSM geographic teammates, broker partners, and distributor partners to develop effective top down/bottom up execution plans and activation strategies that lead to wins and business expansion at high volume end users in the territory
  • Effectively execute on CloroxPro sales priorities in the territory, including innovation, programming, promotional activity, contracting, and portfolio and protocol penetration and expansion

Business and Customer Planning -
  • Engage in the Team planning process and targeting plans for the territory and broader geography through a command of existing data, opportunities, market intelligence, and competitive insights in order to build the most effective territory coverage plan
  • Leverage existing CloroxPro data, tools, insights, and capability enablers to win and expand business vs competition
  • Exhibit sound territory planning and account management through use of prescribed customer tracking tools, providing visibility on sales progress as well accountability of individual results
  • Provide input and strategic influence into the GTM team as it relates to plan development and executional needs of the field sales organization

Engage our People as Business Owners –
  • Drive inclusion and diversity of experience, gender, ethnicity and thought both internally within the organization and with key external customers and stakeholders
  • Develop individual capabilities, with a focus on enterprise end to end selling strategies, to drive sales and personal developmental growth
  • Effectively partner/lead and collaborate with Clorox teammates and business partners, to include Broker reps and Distribution reps in order to maximize sales opportunities in the territory
What we look for:

  • 8 plus years of Field Sales/Customer experience in CPG Professional/Healthcare space or equivalent. Distribution experience helpful.

  • Highly-motivated to exceed goals and deliver results.
  • Demonstrated success in problem solving.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $116,700 - $229,800
–Zone B: $107,000 - $210,700
–Zone C: $97,200 - $191,500

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
