Index Fund Advisors (IFA) is a fiduciary for its clients and a fee-only independent financial advisor that provides wealth management by utilizing risk- appropriate, risk-returns-optimized, and tax-managed portfolios of index funds.

General

This is an entry-level position and will report directly to the Senior Portfolio Manager. General tasks include providing operational and investment support to the Wealth Advisors; communicating verbally and in writing to Client Service Specialists, Wealth Advisors, and Custodial firms; trading and rebalancing client’s portfolios; analyzing client’s portfolios, invest new accounts, rebalancing monitoring.

Specific

1. Respond to Wealth Advisor/Client Service Specialist Inquiries

2. Check Prior Day trades to ensure accuracy of trade specifics.

3. Invest daily deposits according to client portfolio specifics

4. Raise cash from monthly withdrawals according to client portfolio specifics.

5. Complete trading tasks as assigned by Wealth Advisors

6. Assist in operations by reconciling data/running reports/ document filing

Skills & Knowledge

1. Basic knowledge of financial markets (Mutual Funds, Equity, Fixed Income)

2. Excellent administrative/organizational skills

3. Proficient PC, Excel, Microsoft office skills

4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work as a team

Minimum Requirements

1. Interest in Finance and Financial Markets/Market Theory

2. Bachelor's Degree

3. Financial Background (Business/Finance/Economics Degree)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
