We are looking for an outstanding Podcast Client Partner to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone with a proven record of revenue generation and a deep interest in podcasts and audio innovation. We want someone who loves podcasts and knows how to communicate their value to clients and partners. You should be confident without ever being arrogant and you work hard, but know how to have fun. Above all, your work will impact the way the world engages in audio experiences.


What You'll Do


  • Work across multiple agency departments, i.e. radio, digital, branded content and innovation teams, to deliver successful podcast campaigns
  • Meet and exceed advertising revenue goals
  • Focus on brand sell, educating and inspiring our clients to leverage Spotify podcast content to enhance their business goals and outcomes
  • Represent Spotify at events and serve as a brand ambassador
  • Manage activity using salesforce.com and other internal systems
  • Attend weekly and monthly sales meetings as required
  • Coordinate with the communications planning team and strategic planners, account directors, and buyers to create successful ad campaigns
  • Sell podcast advertising and other ad space to grow advertising revenues by creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with media agencies, creative agencies, and clients directly
  • Partner closely with the Spotify frontline sales force to provide incremental value, additive revenue and excellent collaboration
  • Partner internally with sales support, marketing and Spotify Studios teams to enhance revenue for Spotify and our partners


Who You Are


  • You have dexterity in creating reports and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.
  • You are a team player, smart, adapt well with change and have a positive attitude
  • You have the ability to build a pipeline and proven track record of exceeding goals
  • You have strong negotiation skills and the ability to present effectively and close the deal
  • You have knowledge of online and offline media and have the ability to be creative with audio and digital client solutions
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree
  • You have 8+ years of experience in a media agency/online sales role; podcast and/or content sales preferred
  • You have a deep understanding of digital ecosystem
  • You are able to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment and across external and internal teams to deliver creative, fresh campaigns


Where You'll Be


  • This position will be based in New York, NY


The United States base range for this position is $118,381-$169,116, plus equity, plus bonus or commission. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
