General Manager - Duct Fabrication & Installation Commercial Industry
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a General Manager for a global organization in Nashville, TN area. This position is newly created and will report to the VP of Operations. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of manufacturing, fabrication, and installation at two plants. The General Manager's duties will be over full financial results including direct ownership of orders, revenue, cash, working capital, and operating income (full P&L) for the organization. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $160K- 170K, per year, including bonus up to 25%, car allowance, and company equity. Comprehensive benefit plans which start on day 1 of employment, Medical, Dental, Vision, and a 401K plan, HSA/FSA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality products and services are provided to customers
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and employees
- Manage growth and business development strategy and execution to obtain new business opportunities.
- Create performance measurements and ensures these metrics are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Evaluates Team Member performance and manage Leadership, relationships, performance, and results.
- Oversee and evaluate external competitive business environments to identify industry market trends, and develop a vision and marketing roadmap for each regional market.
- Manages forecasting, planning, and achievement of budget targets.
- Ensures the identification, development, leadership, and implementation of business transformation initiatives that are required to support revenue growth, profitability and customer excellence targets that will be essential for the achievement of the company’s strategic direction and vision.
- Lead business M&A acquisition and joint venture strategy, identifying potential targets.
- Ensures the organization is appealing to ensure that it retains and develops a high level of talent with the right skills and experience so that the organization can achieve its strategic sales, growth, profit, and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Manage the development and execution of sales strategies and customer management.
- Led and develop a high-performance team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
- Review performance data and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives.
- Manage the company's financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, and cash flow
- Primary spokesperson for the business and represents the company in industry meetings as well as conferences.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the company's objectives
- Manage and oversee sales and marketing activities, including customer acquisition and retention strategies
- Works with the management team to satisfy consumer needs, and develop and nurture new vendor partners, partnerships, strategic alliances, and other market opportunities.
- Ensures that the new product development (NPD) roadmap is strong and drives on-time delivery of high NPD.
- Direct and oversee the company's production, fabrication, and installation operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- In-depth knowledge of utilizing CRM tools to its fullest potential
- 10+ years of experience in the duct fabrication and installation industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic plans
- Strong understanding of strategy, layout, and deployment
- Ability to travel 20% - 50%
- Extensive knowledge of leading intricate profit and loss organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, drive results, and achieve financial targets
- Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills
