Palm Beach Tan, the industry leader in indoor tanning and salon skincare products is currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to add to our corporate office team.

Base Salary $46,000- $52,000 a year

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of AP, AR, month-end, reconciliations, and payroll processing.

This is full-time position located in Irving, TX.

• Maintain weekly and monthly operations and labor reports.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Run queries utilizing UKG Ultipro and Dimensions, researching and answering all payroll questions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and data entry skills.
• Work closely with Human Resources to maintain compliance with company policy.
• Capacity to adapt to change and embrace new technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of Mircosoft Excel.
• Perform daily and monthly bank postings and reconciliations.
• 2+ years of office administration, billing, accounting, or similar experience.
• Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements for the payment of compensation and related taxes.
• Review and process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 1,600 employees using UKG software
• Self-motivated team player that can multi-task and work independently on assignments.
• Prepare manual checks and process garnishment, child support, and tax levy orders
• Special accounting projects and tasks assigned by the Finance Director.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in general business studies, accounting, or finance is preferred, but not required
• Multi-unit retail industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP.
• Proficiency in UKG, UltiPro, or similar payroll software applications.
