Responsibilities
Empower patients: Educate patients and/or caregivers on all aspects of device use, including donning and doffing of garments, controller operation, following prescribed protocols, and initiating therapy sessions.
Deliver exceptional service: Maintain timely contact with patients to schedule and complete trainings and demonstrations, ensuring they receive prompt and efficient support.
Personalize the experience: Create a welcoming environment by providing clear verbal instructions during demonstrations or trainings, adapting your approach to accommodate individual situations and needs.
Foster patient satisfaction: Manage patient feedback, addressing any concerns or objections regarding the product, financial responsibilities, and required documentation with empathy and professionalism.
Prepare for success: Thoroughly prepare for each training or demonstration, confirming appointment details, gathering necessary equipment, supplies, documentation, and accessories.
Documentation and coordination: Complete required paperwork with patients, answer their questions, and collaborate with territory partners to facilitate order completion, including necessary insurance documentation.
Collaborate and escalate: Identify and communicate any problems, questions, or additional patient support needs to the relevant departments for prompt follow-up.
Language accessibility: Utilize translation tools effectively when working with patients whose first language is not English, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
Exceed expectations: Strive to meet or exceed established performance expectations, consistently going above and beyond to deliver outstanding results.
Travel with purpose: Embrace up to 80% travel within your assigned territory, visiting patients in their homes, clinics, or through virtual platforms.
Additional contributions: Embrace other duties as assigned, showcasing your versatility and dedication to the team's success.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
2+ years of experience in a patient-facing, education/training, or highly advanced customer service role.
Preferred
Health-related certification.
Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
Knowledge & Skills
Physical capability: Able to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.
Versatile work environment: Comfortable working remotely and traveling to patients in various settings, including homes, clinics, or virtual environments.
Effective communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage patients, caregivers, field staff, and internal teams.
Empathy and interpersonal skills: Ability to empathize with patients and caregivers, fostering strong relationships and trust.
