Overview:The Pastry Chef is a skilled professional specializing in creating and producing a wide range of baked goods, desserts, and confections. They are responsible for managing the pastry department, overseeing pastry production, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, visually appealing, and delicious sweet treats.
Responsibilities:

- *Comp. BOE
- Must be proficient in a variety of techniques including pie dough, pate a choux, tart dough, bread baking, cakes, laminated doughs, jams, compotes and pastry creams.
- Pastry Production: Plan, prepare, and execute a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods in accordance with the restaurant's menu and quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead and supervise the pastry team, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Sanitation and Safety: Adhere
- Quality Assurance: Maintain strict quality control measures to ensure all pastries meet the required taste, texture, and presentation standards.
- *Luxury high volume preferred
- *Must be able to work mornings
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory for pastry ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and control costs.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to create new and innovative pastry offerings that complement the overall dining experience.
