Your New Role…


  • The part-time BD/Partnerships Coordinator supports CNN Audio’s marketing & partnerships team, assisting with partner management, development, and management of promotional/marketing activities (audiograms, creatives, images, audio, copy, etc.) to drive awareness of CNN Audio content and to support CNN Audio’s revenue driving partnerships.
  • This role reports to CNN Audio’s Head of Partnerships, Marketing & Operations.


Your Role Accountabilities…


  • Work with the Head of Podcast Marketing to maintain key relationships with strategic third-party audio platform partners (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc.) through quarterly meetings, communication of new audio releases, breaking news content, content pitches (active and archival content) for promotion on partner platforms and develop strategic launch co-marketing campaigns for priority podcast launches as well as secure required creative for campaigns.
  • Collaborate with CNN Audio’s editorial team to plan and manage CNN Audio’s social media activities: Coordinate social media graphics, copywriting & scheduling posts on CNN flagship accounts, as well as creating social media assets for CNN talent and episode guests.
  • Manage and execute CNN Audio Push alerts: Draft + send push alerts for podcast episodes.
  • Provide weekly promotional data points for the weekly internal operations updates.
  • Work with the Head of Podcast Marketing to maintain key relationships with strategic third-party audio platform partners (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc.) through quarterly meetings, communication of new audio releases, breaking news content, content pitches (active and archival content) for promotion on partner platforms and develop strategic launch co-marketing campaigns for priority podcast launches (ex. All There Is), as well as secure required creative for campaigns.
  • Identify and secure promotional audio ad promo trades and episode swaps with external podcast publishers which align with editorial strategies.
  • Collaborate with the CNN Audio editorial team to manage pre-launch, launch, post launch podcast/show marketing plans: managing timelines, action items, deliverables and listening data.
  • Work with the Head of Podcast Partnership to assist in the management and implementation of CNN Audio’s current licensing partnerships (identifying additional marketing opportunities, securing assets, tracking of required deliverables, etc.).
  • Secure & manage CNN newsletter feature placements.
  • Analyze data at the conclusion of each marketing campaign to inform decisions about future campaign strategies and efficient tactics.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $35,360.00 - $36,504.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
