(HATCI) Is Looking For a Partnership And Outreach Coordinator To Join The Hyundai CRADLE Silicon Valley Team In Mountain View, CA

The Partnerships and Outreach Coordinator in CRADLE’s Silicon Valley office will be responsible for the management, value realization, and expansion of our partnerships in North America You will also support, plan, execute, and help run major corporate events as well as smaller partner events. As a team member, you will work in close collaboration with external partners as well as executives and their teams throughout Hyundai Motor Group (HMG). The coordinator will work to help bring CRADLE Silicon Valley and HMG closer to the startup and corporate innovation/venturing ecosystems and to build a robust portfolio of diverse partnerships that will help drive innovation and future businesses for HMG in the near and long term.
As Part Of a Dedicated Open Innovation Team, The Coordinator Will
The successful Partnerships and Outreach Coordinator will have excellent communication and strategic skills.
  • Actively represent Hyundai CRADLE in the greater North American innovation ecosystem
  • Collaborate with PR to conduct proper marketing for sponsorships or memberships when necessary.
  • Able to travel up to 10% of the time (primarily domestic)
  • Cultivate, build and leverage a network of North American partners in the corporate innovation/venturing ecosystem to help identify and collaborate opportunities aligned with CRADLE and HMG innovation priorities.
  • Startup showcase meetings and innovation workshops for internal audiences.
  • Encourage and manage CRADLE members’ engagements and participation in existing partnerships.
  • Conduct the budget planning and securing budget process to prepare partnership and event budgets.
  • Receive and consolidate leads/deal flow database from partners for evaluation by CRADLE team members
  • Initiate, manage and/or support CRADLE Silicon Valley’s internal and external events by working on detailed planning, budget preparation, content creation, internal and external marketing, vendor management, meeting logistics, and event operations. Generally, there are two types of events:
  • Utilize social media to develop customer relationships through engagement and capturing leads.
  • Continuously evaluate the continued value of existing partnerships, sponsorships, and memberships to make renewal and withdrawal recommendations.
  • Research, plan, promote, and implement ecosystem marketing initiatives and/or involvement to increase brand awareness including the upkeep of the CRADLEinc.com website.
  • Manage CRADLE startup/founder accelerator and incubator partnerships, sponsorships, and memberships in the United States.
  • Continuously identify new opportunities through partnerships with startup/founder accelerators and incubators, CRADLE portfolio companies, event sponsorships, and memberships.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders
  • External facing events such as Mobility Innovators Forum, which is an annual conference that CRADLE hosts.

Compensation
  • $80,673~$117,062
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • The location of the position is in Mountain View, CA.
  • 2 years’ experience in managing partnerships, conducting events or equivalent
  • Candidates applying for positions with HATCI must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using event management tools and working with agencies is a plus
  • Familiarity with automotive, energy storage, or robotics is beneficial
