Paid Media and Email Manager


We are a newly-launched specialty apparel DTC ecommerce business funded by a large public company. We are seeking a highly motivated Paid Media and Email Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in accelerating our newly launched DTC business.


JOB SUMMARY


As the Paid Media and Email Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective email marketing campaigns and managing paid media strategies to accelerate customer acquisition and retention. You will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, increasing customer acquisition and engagement, and optimizing conversion rates. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, have experience managing a paid media agency, possess strong knowledge of the Klaviyo and Shopify platforms, and demonstrate a proven ability to grow an ecommerce business.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement email marketing strategies on the Klaviyo platform to build and nurture customer relationships, drive sales, and increase brand loyalty.
  • Support the Director of DTC in day-to-day management of the on-site experience in our Shopify platform
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in email marketing and paid media to drive innovation and optimize performance.
  • Create compelling email content, subject lines, and CTAs that drive engagement and optimize conversion rates.
  • Segment and target email campaigns based on customer behavior, preferences, and demographics.
  • Partner with our paid media agency to manage and optimize paid media campaigns across various channels, including search, display, social media, and remarketing.
  • Design and execute automated email campaigns, including welcome series, abandoned cart recovery, and post-purchase follow-ups.
  • Continuously analyze email performance metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with our internal marketing and design teams to develop and implement cohesive creative for paid media campaigns that drive brand awareness and conversion.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports with actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE


  • Proficiency in Shopify and its ecosystem.
  • Experience in managing paid media agency and driving campaigns across various channels, particularly Google Ads and social media advertising platforms.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms (Klaviyo) and marketing automation tools.
  • Proven track record of managing successful email marketing campaigns and driving significant revenue growth.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft compelling email content.
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce principles, conversion optimization, and customer journey mapping.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving results and growing an ecommerce business.
