Job Summary
The Manager of Marketing Strategy and Analytics will be responsible for helping to drive in-store and online sales performance by reviewing data, developing new analytics, looking for insights, and helping to deliver recommendations on how to continually improve our marketing campaigns. The individual will have a strong understanding of marketing metrics and analytical techniques, especially relating to digital marketing. They will be responsible for answering marketing analytics questions for key stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist in the creation of compelling, persuasive presentation materials that clearly and concisely communicate key learnings and recommendations to senior level executives
- Help to identify customer trends and recommend data-driven responses to guide strategy and decision making within the Marketing organization
- Support Email and other teams in Marketing with reporting, analytical insights, and strategic recommendations related to the media performance and marketing support
- Assist in the design and execution of tests which generate results leading to actionable insights

- Create dashboards in Tableau and other reports using data from our marketing & sales data warehouse to answer ongoing and ad-hoc analytical questions
- Location— Remote - Continental U.S.
- Assist with the execution of ad hoc strategic marketing projects as assigned
- Assist digital marketing team to measure the success of Facebook, Google, and other digital ad campaigns
- Decision making – Provides information to influence decisions. This role will be presenting at the executive level and will be making recommendations about the future of marketing initiatives.
- Travel – As needed
- Actively review and analyze marketing efforts including performance by individual ad, media, store/market and campaign to identify successful elements and work to continuously improve event performance. Actively track and analyze test campaigns and initiatives.
Requirements – Education and Experience
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data reporting tools; ability to write queries in SQL
- Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports
- Speak and listen to others in person and over the phone
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
- Stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time
- 3+ years of working with financial or marketing data and performing analyses or modeling Experience developing business intelligence dashboards using a tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in brick-and-mortar retail
- Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, and a high aptitude for problem solving
- Familiarity with Google Ads (Search, Shopping, YouTube) and Facebook reporting and data
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to engage with online forums or communities to learn the newest and latest measurement techniques
- A Bachelor’s degree in business or a quantitative field is required.
- Strong business acumen
The anticipated salary range for this position is $107,900 – $161,900 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
