Job Description

Nexleaf is a purpose driven organization that partners with low and middle income countries to ensure they have the data they need to build lasting solutions that improve the health of people. Our technology is used in over 25 countries across Africa and Asia, protecting and supporting the infrastructure required to get safe vaccines to 1 in 10 children born each year.


We are looking for an Operations and Finance Analyst to join our globally remote team as the primary administrative resource for Nexleaf Analytics. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Business Operations & Finance, this role is crucial to ensuring that the organization runs efficiently and employees are equipped for success. Additionally, the Analyst supports the CEO, Nithya Ramanathan, as her executive assistant. The workload is a combination of regular tasks and special projects, affording the Analyst an opportunity to learn how to run a fast-moving, high-impact organization.

This is a nonexempt and fully remote position based in the US.


Responsibilities

  • Administrative support. Manage internal organization and filing of company documents. Maintain inventory of company subscriptions and tools.
  • Finance support. Conduct Accounts Payable actions, including vendor payments, contractor invoices, and reimbursements.
  • Special projects. Team closely with the Sr. Manager of Business Operations & Finance on a range of projects that drive clarity, efficiency, and impact throughout the organization.
  • Executive Assistant to CEO and other leaders. Book travel, maintain complex calendars, assist with communications, format presentations, and act upon time-sensitive requests.
  • People support. Facilitate employee onboarding, including initial setup and welcome process. Work with HR and our PEO to run payroll and answer payroll-related questions. Schedule interviews with candidates and provide an excellent candidate experience.


Requirements

  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Highly proactive and takes ownership to anticipate needs and adept at managing-up and downstream to ensure deliverables are met timely and accurately
  • Previous exposure to executive support, including calendar management and travel arrangement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • 2+ years in a similar role (administration, finance, office management, executive assistant)
  • Tech savvy; ability to learn and utilize collaboration tools effectively, adapt to new software, scheduling applications and calendar management (Zoom, G-suite a plus)
