Job Overview
As the Operations Business Manager, you will support Operations Department leadership by providing subject matter expertise in financial-related matters and improvement of functional operations. You will also recommend policies and procedures required for sound management and adherence with all Airport Board policies. Under general direction of the Assistant Vice President, Operations, Administration Training and Programs you will manage the department’s administrative functions, including the development, monitoring, and reporting of departmental operating statistics and serve as the department’s principal on administrative matters.

What you will be doing:
- Partner with Operations divisional leadership to analyze, recommend, and assist in the development and implementation of budget formulation, tracking, and reporting.
- Research, develop, and manage the collection and presenting/reporting of data for measuring and quantifying resource management, quality assurance, performance assessment, and customer expectations and satisfaction.
- Analyze, research, and document existing revenue and expense structure, as well as make recommendations for reclassification and improvement.
- Analyze business development strategies and quantifies potential revenue, capital needs, and organizational synergies.
- Act as an internal consultant by providing direct analytical assistance between Finance and operation units on various ad-hoc business, financial, and company policy matters.
- Analyze systems and operational workflows; identify problems and develop improvements of functions for operations.
What you need:
- Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
- Three (3) years of experience formulating, tracking, and reporting department and business unit budgets.
- Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in business management, administration, airport operations, maintenance, or customer service.
- Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
- Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, finance, or a related field.
