The AI & Intelligence Platforms Portfolio Strategy & Product Operations team drives several focus areas including Offers & Orderability. The team’s mission is to connect our product organizations with actionable product/offer operational intelligence, bring offers to the sales organization that are easy to configure, price, quote and deploy and identify and deliver application value through cross application synergies and data partnerships.
Within this team, we have an opportunity for an Offer and Operations manager to work in a talented, cross-functional, highly collaborative team to lead the offer and business operations activities. This individual must possess a strong blend of product management, financial and operations skills. This role will be responsible for driving the offer vision, strategy and scope beyond the standard tiering of applications. This person identifies opportunities and develops ideas for potential cross portfolio offers based on industry experience and validates with customers and internal key stakeholders. After the offer is defined, this offer and business operations manager establishes with sales a long range plan, collaborates with the finance team on pricing and P&L. This role will also be a key sponsor and contributor to the offer launch activities with respective project managers and team members. Lastly, this role would also create and support content to communicate the offer strategy and information to product management, engineering, sales and senior leadership.
As part of the offer launch process, this role will also work in a matrixed environment to ensure offers are easy to configure, price, quote, order and deploy. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, high data literacy, and intellectual curiosity. Ideally, you are an exceedingly organized, results-oriented individual who knows how to redirect around pitfalls, remain flexible and positive in an ever-changing environment.
This role will thrive at collaboration with product managers and various cross-functional team members as both customers and partners to better our offer and ordering processes as well as our product offering itself with the initiatives they lead, support and implement. An ideal candidate will possess strong product management, financial and operations acumen, and enjoy working in a cross matrixed, distributed, and highly collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
Define and maintain offer scope and product dependencies
Create and Maintain product and offer P&Ls, total cost of ownership, financials and perform competitive pricing analysis
Effectively manage the product portfolio of initiatives, partnering with the product manager to deliver offers to the market
Work with Configure, Price and Quote team to drive run rate changes to offers and prioritize efforts for more significant updates
Responsible seamless configuration, price, quote, and order fulfillment processes including channel and ecommerce strategies
Offer/Product sponsor in key launch management activities
Requirements:
5+ years of business operations and/or offer management experience
Product management knowledge of offers for cloud applications
Finance and Operations experience building financial models, long range plans and pricing
Data Analysis and experience working with various disparate systems (ordering, application provisioning, etc. ) to piece together a holistic view of key metrics
Self-directed, operationally minded and experience partnering with key stakeholders Sales, Product Management, Portfolio and Finance teams.
Ability to drive definition and scope of offers for cross selling and add-ons in ambiguous environments
Ability to identify opportunities for bundling and cross selling
BS, BA or graduate degree (MBA is a plus)
Strong decision-making and prioritization skills
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
