Summary: Nutrition Graduate Professor for Master’s Program

This work is on-site and Fort Sam Houston, Texas to support and training services for the Nutrition and Diet Therapy Program, Department of Clinical Specialties (DCS).

:

• Teach graduate-level nutrition course(s), policy, and theory courses for up to 40 students.
• Offer up to 5 hours of office hours per week.
• Respond to student questions and concerns via emails, face-to-face, and online curriculum databases.
• Update course material assigned to teach to ensure information is timely and accurate.
• Attend faculty and staff meetings bi-monthly.
• Submit end of course student grades to the affiliate university.

Qualifications

• Be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and incorporated programs to include Excel.
• Be capable of learning and utilizing current and emerging military and commercial technology.
• This position requires a PhD in Nutrition Related field with 3 years of graduate level teaching experience OR a Master’s Degree in a Nutrition related field with 5 years of graduate level teaching experience and must be a Registered Dietitian.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
