Assistant Professor - Nutrition Metabolism And Rehabilitation Sciences

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Participate in publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals.
• Participate in teaching activities in MS/DI program, as well as, mentoring students and post-doctoral fellows
• Participate in core faculty activities.
• Develop grants for external funding as PI and contribute to other grants as CO-I.
• Conduct research related to nutrition, physical activity, and/or behavioral science.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• An active ongoing research program including funded research projects and peer reviewed scholarly publications as first or senior/corresponding author.
• Experience in writing and submitting scholarly manuscripts and grant applications
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Experience in conducting research related to human behavior change
• An earned academic doctoral degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Behavioral Science, Health Behavior, or a similar field (Ph.D. or equivalent)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Postdoctoral training in a related field
• Service to the field in the form of peer review and/or participation in related national/international organizations
• Recent and relevant teaching experience

Commensurate with Experience
