POSITION SUMMARY
As the Experiential Merchandising Manager, you will lead retailer events and store takeovers, design through production. You have a keen eye for design, sharp attention to detail and are well-versed in brand and product storytelling. You’re passionate about bringing a concept to life experientially.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain understanding of event/experiential marketing industry best practices and monitor emerging trends
- Manage and develop timelines internally and externally, managing all aspects of the event creation process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, creative, visual merchandising, and education to create compelling events
- Develop global events and store takeovers, concept through production. You will play a key role in shaping ongoing events and store takeovers at Rare Beauty
- Additional responsibilities as required
- Manage budget, contracts, scope of work and external vendor agreements
REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive project management experience with proven results
- Events portfolio required
- Bachelor's Degree
- Passion for beauty and a strong knowledge of the beauty space
- Travel required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event planning, production management or related role, preferably in color cosmetics or skincare
- Ability to work both independently with minimal direction, and as a collaborator within teams
- Experience in budgeting and financial management
- Extremely strong attention to detail and organization
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on computers
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
