As a National Account Executive, you will drive strategy and growth with external and internal business partners to build our foundational $2 billion Grocery Licensed Store business. You will own key relationships with existing and new licensed business partners and operate as a general manager. Your work will be broad, impactful, and highly-cross-functional. You will be responsible for new store development and portfolio management, program innovation and adoption, complex negotiations, technology solutioning, and supporting Starbucks world-class Retail Operations team.
As a national account executive, you will…
- Strategically deepen and expand partnerships
- Foster cross functional collaboration & program implementation
- Develop and deliver a robust pipeline of new stores
- Negotiate and implement complex agreements
We’d love to hear from people with:
- General management: application of multi-disciplinary business practices (e.g. marketing, strategy, finance, store development, operations) (5+ years)
- Franchise development and/or licensing experience, preferably in the non-traditional environment (7+ years)
- Direct experience negotiating complex agreements and contracts with executives (5+ years)
- Strategic account management with key external partnerships at retail food & beverage companies, Fortune 500 and/or premium/luxury brands (5+ years)
- Extraordinary ability to build relationships cross functionally with both internal and external teams
- Ability to influence leaders in significant investment decisions and change management
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to adapt strategies and plans, and thrive in an ambiguous environment
- Expertise at simplifying complicated material to communicate in a concise and effective way
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
