Location: Hiring in the Los Angeles and Chicago areas with some ability to travel


Job Details

The National Account Manager, Specialty owns the delivery of retail sales and P&L objectives for Pacifica Beauty across Ulta and Shoppers Drug Mart Accounts, reporting directly to the SVP, Sales. Successful candidates should be passionate about Pacifica Beauty’s mission of being an accessible and innovative wellness beauty brand, comprised of only the best naturals ingredients, and made with compassion for the planet, animals, and you.


Additionally, the expectation is that the individual will help create the strategic vision, as well as manage the tactical implementation across all Pacifica Beauty categories. Job responsibilities include all aspects of account management, line reviews, trade spending/P&L management, business analysis, brand growth strategy definition for the account.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately forecast the business and proactively alerting HQ of major shifts in the business.
  • IRI analytics & insight-based selling
  • Managing trade funds to effectively drive the business.
  • Delivering upon volume, share, and P&L targets.
  • Works closely with Marketing and Operations to identify key business opportunities within the market.
  • P&L management.
  • Execution of all line reviews/presentations across the entire portfolio of products.
  • Leading the strategy, tactics, and execution of the business plan.
  • Management of short-term and long-term business results.
  • Utilize syndicated/other data sources to manage and inform strategic and tactical plans

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working with brokers a plus, not required
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience working within Partners Online and Ulta Vendor Portal
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong cross-functional experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer centric mindset with strong written and oral communication
  • Strong team orientation with interpersonal skills to support
  • Solid experience in sales and customer service
  • 4-5 years of proven Specialty sales experience (Beauty preferred)
  • Proven success as a National Account Manager
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with Target and other mass channels
