Job Summary
The People of Southwest Airlines come together to deliver on our Purpose, which is to connect People to what’s important in their lives through friendly, reliable, and low-cost air travel. The Manager Marketing Strategy & Analytics is part of the Sales Marketing Team and will be responsible for the strategic direction, analytics, and project management of all marketing and go-to-market (GTM) efforts to B2B Customers and business travelers. This role will assist their Team in briefing initiatives as well as directly leading Team Members and partner with cross-functional Teams to plan, kick off, and measure Go-To-Market initiatives with excellence. The Manager Marketing Strategy & Analytics has a passion for developing a team of high-impact contributors and looks forward to collaborating with the Southwest Business Team to deliver on Company partnerships that impact business travel.

Responsibilities
- Deliver clear, concise, and focused communication with team, leaders and partners and encourage candid communication within the team
- Uses data analysis & Customer insights to create and translate information to opportunities for communication efforts and enhancements
- Oversee the strategic direction of Marketing plans to drive Company Lead Generation and nurturing as well as business traveler acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Display knowledge of situational and strengths-based leadership by providing continuous coaching to improve team performance and hold team accountable
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
- Maintain communication roadmap and ensure efficient start-to-finish management of initiatives through insights, ideation, planning, execution, and analysis
- Lead individual contributors within Marketing to drive and execute the company’s strategic plan
- Cultivate, support, and promote an organizational culture that affords for high performance, high morale, integrity, trust, and Teamwork
- Leverage performance of promotional activities throughout the year and recommend optimizations
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to optimize resources and priorities

- Advance knowledge of marketing campaign development and go to market strategy

Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Lifecycle marketing
- Marketing
- Strategic planning
- Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)
- Campaign development
- Preferred: Experience with Salesforce and B2B Marketing tools
- Customer and industry trends
- Fully functioning, broad knowledge in:
Licensing/Certification

Physical Abilities
- Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job

- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
